Time for an Update!!!!

Well good Saturday afternoon to you all. Hope all is going well. I am SO glad it's Saturday, I haven't had a free Saturday in a little while, and I am excited to do whatever I want to do :). Well last weekend we helped April and Philip move into their town home, it is a much bigger place and closer to us, so I am very happy for them and that God was able to work everything out for them to move there. The week before that, we were in Seven Springs, those are the pictures above. We went with the WHOLE Frederick family, and it was such a joy to have everyone there. I truly love my in laws and my brother and sister in laws so much and am so blessed to be a part of their lives.

I have been wanting to get motivated to do some decorating on the house, but can't get past the fact that you need money to do what I really want to do. I have a lot of ideas that I want to do, but can't really explain how I want it to look, so that doesn't really help when trying to tell Caleb what I am thinking. I was hoping to start this new year out a little better than I did. I am everyday longing for a better relationship with my Lord and also with my wonderful husband. This past year the LORD has done many good things. He has blessed us with a wonderful home, a beautiful family, good health, finances, and so many other things. I am praying this year we can give back to Him what He has given us. I am praying for this year that we may be able to glorify Him in our every days, and not just on the good days. Things to be praying for, Malachi and his upcoming surgery, Sophia and her continued health, Vicki and her health, Haiti, and I am sure I am missing so many more things. Well hope all is going well and that you may be blessed today and this year.

OK so I was posting some new pics of the last couple of months that we have been hanging out. I just wanted to post some pictures of the leaves around our house, they were so pretty, but now all are off the trees and in our driveway and front ditch, I get so sad when all the pretty leave are gone. I enjoy them. In the last couple pictures you can see we went to the beach. We went to Jacksonville, Florida for Adam and Jackie's wedding. It was so beautiful and very relaxing. I really enjoyed getting to know the Florida Frederick's a lot better. I am so glad that we had a chance to go and hang out with family and have some much needed time of relaxation. A few house Pics and an update

Good evening everyone,

Hope you all have had an awesome summer, mine has been a little busy, with my family,the house, and just the normal busy things in life. I am so blessed. I am so thankful for the things in my life that have brought me many tests and also many joys. He is faithful through all of it. Well I will update what's been going on in the Frederick household.

For starters we have been working almost everyday the last month on getting back on track to finishing things up in our house. For about a month we just enjoyed what we had done and realized this will never get done if we don't do anything, so back to the grind. Caleb is a great worker and constantly doing something to make sure the house looks great. I have the honor of decorating and making sure it is prettified ( I know that's not a word, but I like it).

Tonight after dinner I noticed that the leaves on our buckeye tree were off and all the buds had fallen off. I looked on the ground and there were SO many buckeyes all over our yard. Caleb and I had a good time throwing them at each other and collecting them, so if anyone wants any, we have plenty. We have two buckeye trees, it's crazy what you find in your yard when the seasons start changing. I am really looking forward to fall. The weather has just been beautiful and I couldn't be more happy with the cooler temperatures. Fall brings apple cider,bonfires, s'mores,scarves,and cardigans, oh how I love fall. I will post a few pics for your enjoyment of the house and all the buckeyes we collected.

some new things going on, pics to come

Good Morning all, hope all is going well for you and you are enjoying your summer. It's crazy how when it's summer time and you have a job, it doesn't really feel like Summer, probably because I can't take a vacation for 3 months. Well I wanted to write that we did close on the house on 6/23/09, but of course not without some errors with paperwork. We showed up to the house for the closing and we were signing and reading over the papers and we noticed that the interest rate on the paperwork was wrong and it needed to be changed to what we were promised. Long story short, it was the banks fault on the paperwork and they corrected it and we were able to sign the papers with the right info on it. We started working on the house that night as soon as we got the keys. It was crazy how easily all the wallpaper came down. My sister and mom started right away ripping down almost every room that had paper and by the end of the night it was almost all gone on the upper floor. We are still doing some painting and adding a few more things, but for the most part the house is looking really good and we couldn't have done any of it without our friends and family. We are planning on having a house warming party in late August, Lord willing and if we get the house in working order. We have a fridge that April and Philip are allowing us to borrow as long as we need to and now I feel like we can live like normal people. We are going grocery shopping tonight and I don't think I have ever been this excited to have our own food in the house. Ah it will be good. Well I hope to post pictures soon, we don't have Internet just yet so we are having to borrow from people, so I will post as soon as I can. Hope this finds you all well. May God bless all of you.

Closing Scheduled for Today

Good morning, just wanted to post a little update to let you all know that we are scheduled to close on our house today at 11:30am! I am getting anxious, I haven't been sleeping too well, and I don't think Caleb has either, we keep thinking of all the things that need to be done before we can call it home, and it keeps us up at night. AH, anyway last night instead of packing clothes like I should have been, Caleb and I spent much needed time together laying around on the couch. I don't think that the TV has been on that long for about a week. It was nice, but now I need to get moving on the clothes getting packed. Heck I may even be able to give any of you of want or need some clothes. I have way TOO many!! OK well if you all could be praying for us as we take the next BIG step in our lives I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you all for you prayers and congrats! A Little New News

Good late afternoon to all. I just wanted to post a quick post to let some of you know where we are in our house adventure process. We went to auction last Saturday for a house that we were really interested and we WON the bid. Can you believe it? Anyway so now we are in contract with this house and waiting to hear if and when we can move in. It's exciting, but makes me very anxious about the whole thing. It's such a relief to have found the home that Caleb and I both really like and can see us growing a little older in. It's in Pataskala, very close to my parents and his parents, still close to church, not so close to work, but hey we would rather live closer to family than our work places. God is so good. He directed us right to this house, and I am so thankful for all the He has provided for us. We have a lot to get done before we can call it home, but I am getting excited to have OUR FIRST HOME!! I will try to post more about the upcoming house projects and when we move in. It's another step in our life together and I am excited to see what God wants to do with us in this house.
